about the program

This is a Language Preservation Initiative for Foundation Phase Learners (Grade R to Grade 5)

The Amazwi ka Qamata program seeks to revitalize and preserve South Africa's indigenous languages by offering a tutoring service that specifically focuses on mother tongue languages for foundation phase learners.

The program’s name, Amazwi ka Qamata, translates to "The Words of God," referencing the ancient spiritual connections to the land and ancestors, reinforcing the deep cultural ties that language carries. This program will foster linguistic pride, improve educational outcomes, and contribute to the cultural preservation of indigenous languages.
